a car transport device that takes you where it thinks you need to go sounds like something driving enthusiasts will flock to

shame they don't have several hundred seats and rails to travel on .........

Reliability and predictability has to be pretty damn 100% + for me to park my tush in one of those. The jokes about "Cars made by MIcrosoft" are still pretty much true.

So on this new Google car, will you have to watch ads while it's moving? Or will it be ad powered? View an ad, move 50 yards. View another ad... another 50 yards, and so on until you get to your destination.

I don't get it. This version is supposedly limited to 25mph top speed because of various regulatory issues, which makes it useless for all but the shortest surface-street-only commutes. Where is it going to drive to? Nobody's going to buy a car that's just for grocery runs.

And yes, if it looks like that, the early adopters are going to have a really hard time getting girlfriends...
