They are pretty sure this is some kind of a scam but I signed up when someone posted this last year. I still have my free 30gb at pogo plug.com and have not had to show them my credit card. I also have not been bombarded by spam from what I can tell.

Adorama has "had" my cc "on file" since my first purchase.
I think they may have emailed me once to let me know some accrued points were going to expire.
I may have been careful ordering stuff not to opt into receiving offers and or opt in just isn't default but I never find crappy, spammy emails or anything in my in box from them.
Unlike some vendors Amazon who insist on sending me an email with an offer on everything and anything, even just a pic linked from a post here for clarity no matter how many times I opt out.

I think Adorama sends me an ad once a week, twice if there is a holiday related sale. Amazon is relentless in letting me know they scrutinize my every click on their site and partner sites. I think I get 2-3 from Amazon a day, more if I click on something and leave to in my save for later items.

I received an email from
Picturelife that included a link to access the storage. I haven't followed through yet but I assume I'll need to download software. Picturelife's email came one day after Adorama's email announcing the offer for Adorama VIP members.
