FWIW... the CN tower in Toronto has a glass floor on the top at one point. It was very cool to stand on it and look down. Brief vertigo, but then you got to enjoy the view., and imagine the wind whistling by your face as you BASE jump.

My then 15 year old son took one look at it and ran in the opposite direction. My beloved wife refused to even ascend to the top, and waited for us in the gift shop. Alas, my offspring did not inherit my innate agoraphilia .
