What's the name for designs like this?

I'm sure there's a name for it, and I just don't know: http://imgur.com/a/8TSR4

It looks like the design that is frequently above dining tables (aka sub rosa): http://www.worldwidewords.org/qa/qa-sub1.htm

Also reminds me of the quatrefoil: http://99percentinvisible.org/episode/the-fancy-shape/

The first one looks like a Mandala, repeating patterns of a circular nature.

The second one looks like a Doodle.

Paisley?

EDIT: Referring to the second one

I agree that the first is a mandala. There isn't enough spirality/curviness for the second to be paisley, but the pattern resembles traditional designs used in henna art.

Reminds me of henna tattoos.

Would the second one even have a name? To me it looks like a montage of designs.
