I've had a bad experience with Beach Camera. I no longer trust them.

They advertised features that were NOT on the product they shipped (claimed built in WiFi was on a BluRay player; it wasn't). When I called Beach Camera to complain, a Customer Service rep at Beach Camera offered a price adjustment that I agreed to. Two weeks later, NO money was credited to my account. I called and was told that a supervisor cancelled the agreed upon adjustment and, no one at Beach bothered to let me know of the change. This was all done through Beach Camera's eBay site. Several other buyers also complained leaving Negative Feedback. eBay did NOTHING for buyers who had been ripped off. Discover Card went to bat for me and, I got a refund (I don't remember if I got stuck with the return S/H). Over the month or so that this was playing out, Beach Camera NEVER amended their listing to correct the error re: built in WiFi and, eBay let Beach Camera continue to defraud buyers. I'll never buy from Beach Camera again and, warn other potential customers as to how Beach Camera chooses to do business.

The earlier model, had a USB Wi-Fi plug-in, that was usually provided by the dealer. We might be able to get it from LG themselves.

Wow, that some bad customer service.
ebay doesn't seem at all concerned that one of their vendor/users has an incorrect listing.

That sounds like bad customer service and ebay compounded it by allowing it. I have bought several lenses through them and another site of theirs called buydig and have had good results.
You can see their ratings compare to other regarded seller such as B&H.

And he would have gotten away with it too if it wasn't for those darn kids, their cell phone camera and a dog named Scooby Doo.

Correct and, had Beach Camera simply acknowledged their error and shipped me the WiFi dongle, this would have ben a non-issue. As I said, an agreement had been reached between me and Beach Camera customer service. Beach Camera, entirely on their own, decided to void what was agreed upon and, didn't have the balls to advise me of the change. Beach Camera obviously sells a lot of things so, there will be the occasional hiccup. When a hiccup occurs though, it should be dealt with quickly and fairly. In the case I (and several other eBay buyers) experienced, that simply did NOT happen. I'm as disappointed with eBay as I am with Beach Camera. I'm FAR more likely to buy through Amazon.com now than I am to buy through eBay as, the very few times I've needed to contact Amazon customer service, there was NO doubt that I was a valued customer in Amazon's eyes. :oldfogey:
