How much is the full retail for the 6 & 6 Plus?
#1
Since the store is still down and Tim didn't say, at least I don't think he said but the feed was so bad I might have missed it, does anyone know what the full retail price would be for the 6/Plus?
I can't remember what the full retail was for the 5S. I think it was $650, so I assume the Plus would be $750. Does that sound about right, or do the different carriers charge different prices?

He didn't say. I don't think there was a different price between carriers as the phones are also sold by Apple unlocked, but probably not until December.

Thanks. I finally got the store to come up and saw the $750 for the Plus. The only one the Apple Store sells without a contract is the TMobile version, which won't work for me. I guess I would have to wait till they are available from Verizon directly.

Yikes.

Maybe this announcement will bring the straight talk 5's down in price so I can finally upgrade my PagePlus 4S.

I don't understand the pricing. Doesn't it cost a lot more money to make things smaller? Why is a big honking phone more costly than a tiny one?

I feel like Ballmer -- "$950 for a phone!"

The components themselves probably aren't any smaller in the 6 vs 6 plus and larger displays also cost more money. Oh, and because they can.

This is sarcasm? A bigger phone has more case, more panel, often more battery, these prices add up. Is a 60" HDTV generally cheaper than a 32"? Is the 11" or 13" Air more expensive?

Hey, if I decide to upgrade, because I really like the bigger phone, I will give you first dibs on my ST iPhone 5 that I have on PP. I just don't want to be tied to a contract, but I would like that bigger screen, and I could get a $200 trade in credit for my old iPhone 4.
BTW, PP is supposed to be getting LTE in October.
