Good to hear!

I've got the one close to it the MX1000, great mouse. Hope yours works as wonderfully as mine has the past 3 years.

My only gripe, I want 2 more buttons to map to escape and enter.

Out of curiosity, how much did you pay for yours?

Where did you get your G7? I am considering buying one.

I'm also curious if you find that you have to swap the battery once a day as many reviewers claimed.

Amazon, it was the fatwallet, dealmac deal from a week ago. Had instant savings, and rebates.

The mouse, so far, feels light and crisp... even lighter than the corded Logitech MX500 i was using.
No lag time whatsoever.
The MX1000 seemed good, but I see the advantage in not having to put it on the charger (downtime). This mouse effectively has no downtime, plus it comes with one of those Mini-Dongles so it would be great with a laptop, etc.

Ironically, I had to Uninstal Logitech Control Center to get it to work.

Grad, thanks for mentioning the MX500. That's the mouse I've used for years, and love it. Is the size of the G7 about the same? Weight about the same? How much did you pay for it?

Please keep us apprised of the battery life, particularly in the Normal, non-gaming mode.

I've got the Logitech Cordless Optical Trackball which gets about 5+ months so far on alkaline batteries. It's an --ok-- trackball, but not a great one.
