#1
I've read that MacBook's allow you to password protect any unauthorized disk initialization via a firmware password - does this work for macBook Pros as well?

I have permission to use that quote BTW. I feel it is important to give credit for a work of pure genius.

Or do you just skip that whole product documentation thing and come to places like this, expecting that it's your right to have the answers spoon-fed to you?

I, for one, am FIRMLY in favor of spoon-feeding. And spoons. And using spoons to drain the ocean. http://forums.macresource.com/read/1/152...msg-152439 And of course, spooning. Actually, pretty much anything spoon-related. Spoon, spoon, spoon, spoon!

Errr, what was the question again?

it's beginning to amaze me how a few people on this board are such d!cks. Step out of your narcissism for a minute and realize that (1) some people may not have the ability/knowledge to find answers quickly and (2) sometimes it's more *enjoyable* to post them here...it even provides a quick reference for others seeking out that information (when they do a forum search).

Nobody said you had to post to the thread...you don't like the question, crawl back into your little myopic hole and insult somebody else.

As someone who works both in education and technology, elmo3, your arrogance is not just bothersome on a lack-of-decency level, but also on the people-hate-tech-support-because-of-ignorant-reponses-such-as-yours. If you aren't part of the solution, stay out of it.
