I just placed the order for a 2.0ghz Intel 20" Dual Core iMac. I think I'm going to forget the migration and just start from scratch. I always keep all of my installers on another drive so it'll be a little more work but I'll have a fresh install of OSX to work with. They say 5-7 days to ship, but maybe I'll get lucky. Any one know why I get charged an $8.00 recycling fee when I'm not recycling my old computer?

Good question jdc. Yesterday's must have been an "early 2006" and today's is a "mid 2006". There seems to a distinction between the 2 but I don't know exactly what that is. Yesterday's was $1299 and today it is $1399. Unless they just raised the price $100, but in the support pages it is listed as 2 different models.

Here's where I found it and there 2 different manuals

Very strange, I hope someone else can shed some light on this and whatever it is, is worth $100

Yes, a hearty leader to you soon.
I am still puttering along with the G4 iMac, sporting a lovely glowing blue base.
Maybe an intel Mac for me when the second revisions show up as refurbs, or I hit the Powerball.
