Did Apple ever make furniture?
#1
I found a computer/drafting table "made by Macintosh or Apple" on Craig's List

$75 seems like a good price if it's a genuine Apple product.

I recall seeing that desk and wanting one. But it wasn't made by Apple.

It's from the "beige" era, and when compact Macs were still in the lineup.

MacTable is a Mac-focused Web store that sells "furniture, accessories and gadgets designed to complement a high-end Mac system," according to founder Jack Campbell. Green Design Furniture offers cherry furniture that is assembled and glued together using mortise-and-tenon joinery.

Campbell told MacCentral that the entire situation is a misunderstanding. He said that he contacted a furniture distributor in Louisville, Kentucky, about a month ago about a wooden desk a friend suggested that he investigate for inclusion in his store offerings.

Jack Campbell, that's a name I haven't heard in a while.

Im looking at it and thinking I would get a huge scratch on my thigh everytime I say down near the ends. Those G5 handles were SHARP.

You could cover the handles with some vinyl edging like that sold for car doors.

Or use masking tape, emory cloth, and a buffing wheel to radius and smooth the very edge so it wasn't noticeable.

Me, I'd just be sure the bench was wide plenty wide.
