What a thing to get excited about, eh? But it means that I can post the occasional comment here without having to be away from home for it to work.

IPad Chrome went back to using the proxy sometime yesterday.

It's there to allow Google to intercept everything you type so that they can deliver targeted ads to you and sell you to the highest bidder.

...and ostensibly to speed up your browsing and save money by compressing the data sent to your phone.

The only device from which I can post here is my iPad Mini, if I use Chrome. Otherwise my IIP is blocked. For some reason, the other iPad's Chrome is not using a proxy. I don't understand why Chrome is different on this one device, but I'm glad it is, if it allows me to post here.
