I have a friend who wants to set up a children's library in Turkey using tablets. Turkey evidently has excellent WiFi available country wide.
Do any of you have any hardware/software/system recommendations?

Good luck. Find a good service and support provider near the library.

What do you mean by "set up a library...using tablets?"
1. Create a virtual library on a website that has links to e-resources that the kids will use on the tablets???
2. Use apps on a tablet to organize a physical library?
3. Combo of the above?

Overdrive is the App my library system uses here in Suffolk County, NY. I get audiobooks via Overdrive (ebooks are available too).

I don't know if your friend in Turkey would be able to use it. Even if he can't, I expect he'd get some good ideas from Overdrive.
He might also want to look at Project Gutenberg.
Thanks
