Where is this fancy car elevator?

Can't see any video, but if it's this one it's at the factory in downtown Dresden. When we toured it in 2003, they were building Phaetons there, and bringing in some of the parts on a special streetcar called Cargotram.

BBC may have changed the image, or perhaps the mobile site has a different image than the desktop site, but yes, it looked like the one Mr. Downtown posted.

so why do they have this elevator? do they use that as a parking garage? just as a showroom? it seems to bo about 20+ stories tall.

iirc, the auto silos allow VW to deliver a car to a factory direct customer with zero miles on the odometer

they hold several hundred cars in a small confined space (discounting the vertical rise)
