Best mono laser printer with wireless networking?
#1
I guess my tried and true Samsung ML2010 won't be updated to any new OSX versions.

Is there a forum opinion on the best black and white laser printer for a small home office, which offers wireless printing?

Thanks

Oh Brother, this question comes up again and again.

Brother laser. Forget the current model number, but they have one around the $100 price point (often less when it goes on sale at various places) that works well.

Will it be used for proofing?

Brother HL-L2340DW

But keep in mind it comes with a 'starter' toner cartridge, so order a generic two-pack of the high capacity carts for $30 and you're good.

Chopper,

Keep an eye out on the deal sites. There is always a deal for a Brother laser of some type. Personally, regardless of brand, I'd choose a model that has USB, ethernet and wireless.

Staples has the EHL-2280DW on sale right now for $89 and change. It's a refurb of the HL-2280DW all-in-one.

Use a coupon and price matching to reduce the price further.

Definitely see what other deals are available right now. You may find an even better model from Brother, HP, Canon, etc for a similar price.

"I'd choose a model that has USB, ethernet and wireless.";
Robert is spot on. imle, setup is usually easier with a wired connection and,
if you lose wi-fi for any reason you've still can go via cable.

Brother factory refurbs also include a same as new warranty and support.
Their software support for Apple products is well documented too!

USB, Ethernet, wireless...AND duplex printing.

I make sure my multifunction printers also have FAX capabilities - if you're looking for one of the many MFC line, be careful, because some of them do not have this.

Duplex scanning is nice but is not, in my opinion, a dealbreaker.
