HBO newbie, got some question

I got CC working on HBO Now, started watching a few movies (wife wanted to start with Game of Thrones).

Anyway, I noticed they have a section called "Ending this Month" and they have several movies in there. Also there appear to be movies that were in cinema, not those made by HBO. So my question is how often does HBO renew its catalogue, and do these movies going away soon eventually come back at some point?

How large is HBO catalog? how does it compare to Netflix?

I don't really know about the 'Ending this Month' section.

But the Netflix catalog is HUGE compared to HBO as far as I can tell.

HBO is more about quality.

I tend to watch older television shows, etc., on Netflix.

I watch HBO new shows on, well, HBO.

I don't think anyone thinks that deeply about HBO. They just watch it. It is understood that other than their great series, they do not program all that much that is interesting. One veterans perspective.
