Was hiking around the swamps in Iberia Perish, LA, saw some of these. Can someone ID? Thanks

Now snakes, that's my speciality. :terror:

I've seen those birds often, just thought they wee some kind of crane.

It's a heron for sure.
We had a HUGE blue Heron poach all our fish from our pond.
