Don't take it for granted!

Spring is still trying to get going. Yesterday never got out of the 40s and it rained with a spot of snow mixed in here and there. Two nights ago we had a frost advisory and tonight there's a possibility of it as well. No big warm up coming; in fact, temps will climb but still not make it to average highs.
Enjoy your weather!

It's predicted to hit 90F here for the first time this year, and it rained last night so the humidity will be high too. Enjoy your cool weather!

Yeah, won't see 60ºF for a daytime high here until next Thursday. Maybe.

Frost-bit day lilies are an oddity here. Not the cultivated ones either but the naturalized orange tiger lilies that were brought over with the early settlers and now grow here like weeds along stone walls and in hollows where they are undisturbed.

Don't take the cool weather for granted either. They're predicting a hot summer in Michigan..

We are enjoying it (over 70 yesterday) here in Northern California, though we have had some pretty intense rain spells and cold periods over the last week. I'd describe our weather as "unsettled". Yesterday, riding my bike up the hill on the way home from work I got totally overheated.

define hot summer?

For Michigan, that would highs in the mid to upper 80s into the 90s for an extended period of time. But we were predicted to have a warm Spring which is not happening... 8-)

A record high of 86 was set yesterday in Lihue. I led a garden tour in Kilauea, where it was a beautiful Kauai day... partly cloudy with trades. Drove there and back with the top down on the Vette. Confusedmiley-score010:

Sunny today and 51 at noon. Yesterday it was cooler and wet. But it is still the middle of spring. We haven't had a frost in weeks which is very nice. March had record warmth, April, not so much.

Hawaii has the lowest high temp record and the highest low temp record for its largest cities compared to anywhere else in the country. Paradise.
