I don't get Indiana...
#1
I know Indiana traditionally conservative, but the latest batch of polls just don't make sense.

Democratic candidate leading the Governor's rase by 12 pts.
Senate race favors the Democrat by 6 pts.

But Trump is up by 5 pts.

I'm not saying one is right or wrong, but those are just opposite each other completely. What gives?

I live in Indiana and I don't get it. The odd thing about this campaign is that there are virtually no signs in front yards whereas in years past there would be tons of them. It doesn't even look like it's a campaign year. I work the phones for the Democratic Party and it seems like those people who will talk to me are voting Democratic. I'm hoping for another Indiana surprise on Election Day.

Strange thing here in my TX town…I have only seen 2 Trump yard signs or any yard sign in a 3 mile radius. Usually many signs. I have seen no Hillary signs.

i have a Hillary yard sign. it's the only yard sign for anyone besides some local candidates that i've seen anywhere. only seen one or two Trump bumper stickers. this is two towns in georgia that i navigate. friends say i need to drive neighborhoods more than business streets to see much signage.

I drove through a residential area of Texarkana last week and saw two small Trump signs and no Hillary signs.

Randy Rainbow has a song about Indiana but I think linking to it would be breaking the TOS. It's crude AND cruel. But if you know Broadway show tunes it's funny.

Texas will go Trump no matter what, Clinton might get the Valley, San Antonio and Austin. Houston is up for grabs, Beaumont, Dallas and Ft.Worth will probably go for Trump.....

My daughter, who has disabilities, lives in group residential housing, a home of a 30-something couple. They have a Trump sign on their lawn. The couple, as well as my daughter, receives human services funding. The Republicans, state and federal, are always trying to cut this type of funding. I asked them about their support of Trump and it is all about abortion for this evangelical fundamentalist couple. I told them I admired them for putting principle ahead of their economic well-being and security, especially because the Republicans don't successfully do anything to stop abortion.
