Cathy Heller just wanted to have a nice Mother's Day brunch at Mar-a-Lago with her family in 1997. And everything was lovely until Donald Trump barged in and kissed her on the mouth without her consent, she told the Guardian.
Heller was dining in the restaurant at Mar-a-Lago with her husband, three children, and in-laws when Trump came to their table while greeting diners.
"He took my hand, and grabbed me, and went for the lips," she said, adding that she tried to move backwards but Trump would not let her go.
"He said, 'Oh, come on,'" she added. "He was strong. And he grabbed me and went for my mouth and went for my lips. He kept me there for a little too long. And then he just walked away."
The Guardian spoke with two other people who were able to verify Heller's account. One actually witnessed the encounter and recalled seeing Heller try to pull away from Trump.
"He was very forceful … She really was definitely affected by this man who was very aggressive toward her," the relative said.
Heller now joins an unenviable club of nine women who have come forward to accuse the Republican nominee of making unwanted sexual advances. One woman says she is planning to flee the country to escape the intimidation and harassment she has received since telling her story.
