Strange eBay message
#1
I disputed a Half.com charge directly through my credit card a few weeks ago. Last week I received a message from eBay acknowledging the fact that they received the notice from my CC company.

So a few days ago I received another message from eBay, and in this one it says (my bold) Please reply with the following information so we may dispute the charge against you:

o Order date: <>
o Transaction number: <>
o Date of shipment:
o Shipping method:
o Tracking/Delivery Information:
o Comments

Charge against me?! I was going to reply to the message, but I don't even have that among my options. Could it be that I was simply CC'd the message that was sent to the thieving seller?

Maybe they are disputing the orginal charrge against you, with the seller?

I can't imagine this particular seller would have the stones to charge anyone with anything.

And before you ask, when I made my purchase, there were only two feedbacks and they were both positive. I guess I was the first of many to be shafted.

What I mean is, maybe they are going after the seller. What they say could be interpreted that way.

Looks like the seller is in the hospital or dead.
You'd think one of these feedback-leavers might consider that.
