Find Friends

I have an iPhone SE and Find Friends works fine, I used to see where spouse was and where I was so it was easy to know when she finished picking up the kids and when I got home, and so on.

now if I use Find Friends App, I can see her location, but I cannot see mine. I can see my location just fine in Maps though.

I just checked her iPhone and she cannot see my location. I have Location Service Enabled and I have it set to share with her. I restarted phone, app, still didn't work. it's been like this for a week now.

Did you turn on Share My Location in the Find Friends app itself? Tap on Me at bottom of screen and you'll find a slide bar to turn it on and off.

yes, it is ON, and on the same page, at the top, it tells me "Location no available"

EDIT: also if I choose to see where spouse is, I can see her location, and the bottom of the map, left side, there is a little arrow similar to the one in Maps. That is grayed out, I cannot press it to show me my location.

On the Share My Location screen of either the app itself or in Settings, is your current phone chosen as the device under the heading Share My Location From?

Yes. it is. Sharing from "This Device"

Well, now I'm out of ideas. Hopefully someone else will chime in. Have you Googled to see if others have the same problem?

No, I didn't google. It's not critical right now, especially since I can keep an eye on her location but she can't see mine, LOL. Not that I have anything to hide form her. Nor she has anything to hide from me.

Yeah, my wife at random moments loves to say that she was tracking me.
