I have a client ( believe she's running Office v.X vs 2004) and she's getting an odd subscript quote mark once a in a blue moon, when all she typed was a standard double-quote mark. It's definitely something that's happening through the "AutoFormat" tool, but we can't figure out why it happens once in a while but not most of the time! She doesn't want to simply turn off the AutoFormat option, since it does most of what she wants just fine.
Can someone think of a reason why the program would think it needs to turn a standard double-quote mark into a subscripted one? Or are we simply seeing a case of the Normal template being corrupted, or something like that??
Any suggestions would be most welcome.
