I'd like to get one of these for my toolbox but I don't know what it is.
Can anyone ID or translate the Japanese on it?

Well, the first two kanji say Tokyo, reading left to right on this scraper. Second two, I cannot make out, but third one looks like to hold. Last two vertical, top is naka, which is used in nakama - a relationship, friend, and like most kanji, MANY other things. Cannot tell last one. Anyway, the links tell what it is used for. Kanji the way it is used in Japanese is VERY difficult. But after many years, I finally got to liking it. :emoticon_love: Well, maybe not that much.

I'm very sorry to be slow replying to this! I wanted to confirm first with my wife.
It says "Tokyo tokusei Nakaji". Tokyo you know, "tokusei" means specially made, and "Nakaji" is a person's name. We can't read the words following "36", but must be related to size or model. |
