The wife and I use mochasoft to connect with my company's database to work from home on occasion. I have it installed on my ibook and my MDD tower, the tower is wired into the router and the laptop is wireless. The mochasoft app worked flawlessly on the laptop for about 2 months i think until it stopped being able to connect to the company server and i am stumped.
I've gone over all the settings I can see and they both match up (tower and laptop) I've asked the admin for some advice but as he's not a Mac guy and he doesn't have acess to my network, he hasn't been able to help much.
the error message i get on the ibook goes something like this:
CONNECTION ERROR
Cannot make a connection to XX.XX.XXX.XX:23:
*** -[NSCFArray initWithHost_part2:port:]: selector not recognized [self = 0x36bb20]
Again, the settings on both my computers are the same and I have no trouble getting on from the tower. We've tried the laptop plugged in and wireless with the same results. I have tiger running on both machines.
any ideas?
