I live overseas and one of my American friends here is from Corpus Christi Texas. He says his parents and some other friends have been evacuated. Looks like it could be a bad one. If you're nearby, hang on!

I just looked at the Dallas weather forecast (son & family near there).They expect heavy rains Saturday afternoon as the outer fringes hit the area, but still don't know the path Harvey will take.

The guy on the radio said that those predicting three feet of rain (!) may be exaggerating, and that it will more likely be just two (!)

I'm not worried. The weathermen only make predictions that keep the money rolling in.
