SOLD: 2012 i7 13" Macbook Pro - exceptional condition - $875

I've got a beautiful 2012 2.9GHz MBP 13" - NOT retina. It's the last model with DVD drive, removable RAM and removable hard drive. And the battery is easy to replace too.

It's in really great condition. No dents and only a few light scratches.

It's got 8GB RAM and a new Seagate 2TB SSHD 'FireCuda' that carries a 5 year warranty.

I've installed High Sierra, but I can wipe the drive and install 10.11 or 10.12 instead if you like.

If you're interested, let me know and I'll send you the link to the ebay listing. If you want the added protection form ebay, buy it there (it's $949 on ebay), but I'm, perfectly happy to do a direct paypal transaction with anyone here (assuming that you didn't just set up your account TODAY)

I'm always amazed at how much these (highly desirable) five year old MacBooks sell for. Sadly the 2012 model is the "top of the line" and anything newer will soon sell for less then these.

Maybe Wayne Carini (Chasing Classic Cars) will have a spinoff TV series; "Chasing Classic Macs"...

D & C

Note: I'm not saying the seller was asking too much, I'm just commenting on how the newer models are far less desirable.

I see LOTS of people looking for computers with built in DVD drives. I sold this one locally to a DJ - IDEAL machine for a DJ. Lots of people son't see these as old machine, they see them as very functional and WAY cheaper than anything currently available from apple.

Those were nice machines! With external USB DVD drives at $15, who really cares if they are built in anymore? I can't remember the last time I needed one... That being said, I'll never go back from the retina display!
