I'm embarrassed to admit that I didn't "get" the actual meaning of the show's title until just recently. Before then it seemed an odd choice for the name of a TV show.

Remember the old days, when they’d replace one sitcom Dad with another if the first actor left the show? Like on Bewitched?

They could do that here, where the mom gets involved with another trans. And there would this scene when everyone says, “oh, gee not again!?”

We tried to watch it, didn't make it through the pilot. Just wasn't funny, but then again, I haven't found any TV comedy funny in quite a long time.

.....it wasn't hahaha, laugh out loud funny.....supposed to be 'whimsical' funny......watched 1st season and it was o.k. in terms of watching a show that deals with issues that most shows don't deal with but it wasn't 'much watch'.....could skip it....

Kind of ironic after Hollywood spending four years falling over themselves to say how cool Tambor was for taking the role.
