I was out and about yesterday and stopped by the lab for a quick blood check. While waiting in line, I saw a teen who I'm guessing was about 14-15 years old. He had a pair of leg irons on, but no handcuffs, and was accompanied with who I'm guessing was his father and some siblings.
At first, I thought he was a prisoner, but the man he was with told him and the other kids to go sit down while he finished at the desk. He shuffled over with a prisoner type walk and sat down. He appeared normal otherwise, no piercings, tattoos, wild hair, etcetera.
I know I'm quite out of touch with all the latest trends, but is this a thing now? I surely wouldn't be surprised. If he was looking for attention, he certainly got it, as I wasn't the only one in the room giving him a perplexed look. :dunno:
