Flight makes emergency landing due to farting
#1
Sounds like these passengers would have preferred a crying baby.

A low-cost Dutch airlines plane flying from Dubai to Amsterdam was forced to make an emergency landing in Vienna after a fight broke out mid-air, forcing the crew to intervene. According to multiple media reports, the reason for the fight was a passenger who wouldn't stop farting.

The Daily Mail, quoting local newspaper De Telegraaf, reports that a Transavia Airlines flight made the unscheduled stop in Austria after two Dutch men objected to a flatulent co-passenger. Despite their pleas and complaints to the plane's crew, the man reportedly continued to fart. It's unclear whether the passenger had a medical condition that caused the flatulence. When he allegedly refused to stop, a fight broke out.

That's when the pilot decided to land in Vienna, reporting "passengers on the rampage." Austrian police entered the cabin on landing and escorted four passengers off the plane.

This is what happens when you do something to your Fart's content.

Makes the normal stale air in the cabin seem pretty desirable. Maybe the airlines can start charging for that.

Otherwise, it’s beans for everyone.

So once the pilots caught wind of passengers making a stink they diverted the plane and made a bum rush for the nearest airport ?

Wonder if they had a good tail wind with all that going on?

You would think that the turbofan engine would have dealt with the hot gases emissions more efficiently.

At least the plane didn't run out of gas.

Kind of common with pressurization being at a higher altitude than most airports... The key is "A fight broke out". In other words, the poor gaseous emitter was set upon by hostile morons who assumed he was 'in control'. Seriously... most of us can 'hold' intestinal gases for a bit, but eventually they break loose !
