I'm eating cold chili out of a can and drinking an $18 bottle of wine. Is there anything wrong with that? It sure is good.

Ewww, I thought you had better taste. Cold chili out of a can? Gag. Throw the can away. Get a big pot out. Throw in it some port sausage, a bunch of diffrent beans, seasonings, etc. Enjoy the outcome. It CAN"T be worse than the cold can crap.

You ran out of beer already!!!!?

I'm sorry, but chili does not go with chardonnay. You need to get either some cheap hearty red, or some mexican beer. The only way that chardonnay can be consumed at the same time as chili is if you've already put away an entire bottle so that your taste sense is numbed to the crass chili/chardonnay culinary conflict.

Ask any winery or distributor: any wine goes with anything.

Why does the label say "con carne with beans"?
Did they fire their translator halfway through? |
