Mechanic flying the stolen passenger jet turboprop last night:

"Rich:" Do you think if I can land this thing successfully Alaska will give me a job as a pilot?

ATC: If you can do this they'll give you any job you want

"Rich" - Nah I'm a white guy they... (trails off)

That clearly wasn't his most serious problem though.

This is just one of the many dangers that Fox news brings us. You convince these zeros that the fix is in - that minorities are gonna take his place and there's nothing that he can do about it... there's no point in trying to achieve anything anymore.

It was a big deal in 2018 when the first black female flight crew took the helm of an Alaska flight. That was 3 months ago.

91 percent of airline pilots and 73 percent of flight attendants were white[/i in 2018.
