Paradigm 3se speakers for $65. Worth it?
#1
They're on Craigslist. I need something for my bedroom for low to moderate volume non-rock listening. They're a couple of hours away. Worth looking at?

Seem huge for a bedroom? How about just a nice BT speaker, like a Sonos?

I picked up a pair of 5se speakers about 8 years ago for $50. I repaired (re-glued) one driver a few years ago but they do great. They are being used as my computer speakers with the Mac Mini going into a 20 yr old Yamaha receiver.

I have those very speakers. I had them in my bedroom for a long time (before I got married). Then I had to get rid of the wires- hello Sonos! However, they are fantastic at low and high volumes. Mine will be resurrected for my workshop when I get it better organized.

Anyone who listed something on Craigslist for $65 is planning on selling for $50.

People basically give away speakers. I know, I've got a bunch and can't sell.  In fact, I've got some predecessors to these, I believe. Made in 1989 or thereabouts. Nice speakers,.if not great.

I don't like small speakers. They sound so...small. I played in bands most of my life and I like big speakers. Not loud, big.

OK Marty McFly.

You can pair 2 of them together... several makers do it.
