A few months ago I posted that my iMac was running low on HD space even tho it shouldn't be. You all told me about an app that finds what's taking up the room. It displays color bars of different sizes of what's using the space. It turned out to be something in Adobe taking up like 300 GB's!
I looked in my Apps but don't see anything that rings a bell. A little help, please?

It’s the Mac version of WinDirStat. I think it’s called Disk X or something like that.

I like the free OmniDiskSweeper over the others. It lists the Folders by size in descending order, and goes right down to the file level in each. I can destroy a file/folder right in the app or Reveal in Finder and delete it there. I like lists rather than bar charts.

Another vote for Grand Perspective.
I prefer the visual interface and can manipulate the findings as I please.

System Prefs will show you whats taking up space... its most likely "other".
Which for my teenager is text messages and all their attachements...
