Calling All MacResource Photographers
#1
I have an unusual request and was hoping some of the avid semi-pro and pro photographers would know how to help me look. I am not sure if the embedded photos will show up here. So, if not, you can look at the link here for a picture.

https://mcfarlane.com/toys/hockey-rink/

I am looking for a hockey crowd photo to use as background for a ice hockey rink. The photo should be approximately 50" long by 15" tall. It would be the view you would see if you were on the ice in the rink looking up at the crowd in the stands. There are lots of photos of crowds. Hockey crowds, football, baseball, soccer, tennis, auto racing, etc, but I am not finding any from the field view up. Only from the stands looking down at the playing field/surface.

I am making a massive hockey scene setting for my nephew's 12th birthday. The final piece I need is for a crowd to go behind the glass of the rink. The photo will be stuck to the wall that this will sit in front of. Any advice on where to look for such a thing is welcome. Thanks.

Here's a few links to stock photos of hockey fans in the stands. Not sure if they are what you are looking for.

Archipirata,

Thank you. That last link was the closest to what I am looking for. I guess I should have stated that the image needs to either clearly be a hockey crowd but not close enough to see the jerseys they are wearing, or a close-up of the crowd, but having them be in Washington Capitals jerseys. :-) Sorry about that. The Russian and Polish crowd would not work for this diorama. The Red Wings one you showed, had it been Capitals would have worked perfectly and then just print it out at 50" by 15"

I just googled Washington Capitals fans. Seems to be several shot back through the glass.

See if you can work in a shot of Mia Khalifa.

Your nephew may appreciate it in a year or two.

This reminds me of the commercial for home advisor where they guy asks if he knows a good contractor. The other neighbor says yes and the first neighbor then tells him to get a quote and schedule the work for him.

I have list of to-dos also if anyone wants to help me get them done.

Pat,

Thank you. Some of those could work, but none are the size I need and if I blow them up, they will be horribly distorted.

Ztirffritz,

LOL!!! Mia Khalifa. That was an interesting tour of photos. Hmmm. I had no idea she was a D.C. sports fan. Thanks for that. :-)

Mia is now in the 'Who was Mia Khalifa' category.

Almost famous for a minute.
