I kind of love this whole weird story. And I'm curious about what happened to the vendor and his dogs. Did the health inspector make him dump them? Or, did he go on selling after the bees were vacuumed up?

I am impressed there are bee hives in NYC. I am impressed they found a beekeeper in NYC. I am impressed that cbelt3 didn't show up with his Trigger light Butane torch and Spray can of carburetor cleaner.

I would like to know what happened to the bees. Were they alive and relocated?

I'd figure the hives are in Jersey.

Mostly, I'm impressed the NYPD has a bee keeper.

Since it was a beekeeper (it seems) that removed them, I'd imagine they're none the worse for wear. And certainly relocated.

Did they swarm the hot dog stand in the first place?

I thought they were vegetarians.
