Router Data speeds - what should be good?

Just ran a firmware update on my Airport Extreme, and looked at the data rates. That got me thinking, what should I be expecting? Would I see much better with a newer router?

My MBP is showing 300-400Mbps, my Roku is 100Mbps, iphone SE - 260Mbps, iPad 550Mbps - at the time of the reading speeds only the MBP was actively in use.

So what says the forum experts? Am I okay?, would I see much ofd a speed boost with a newer router (enough to justify the cost)?

those speeds are good. the only reason i'd see to upgrade is if you wanted faster transfer of seriously large files

Each specific device model info would help.

I'm a little dubious the iPad is actually that fast for continuous transfers. It's kind of hard to properly test since there isn't a real user accessible file system on it.

Back in 2014 my HTC One M8 Android phone used to get a connection of "440 Mbps" with my AC1900 access point. My year old LG V20 currently shows a "468 Mbps" connection but I doubt the 128 GB storage card in it can accept data that fast.
