Children watching their father grilled good or bad?

I can understand the parents (Kavanaugh) want their children to see this historic event but I don’t know if I would want my children in the room when all the words were flying at their father. It would be a difficult choice for me as a parent.

Unless one or more become rebels and black sheep of the family. Look at the Trumps, DeVos, other families. Kids tend to follow in their parent's footsteps. But not all, my parents had a different political worldview than me.
