Of course. I own the company, as well as the corporation that owns the company.

I do like my job, but it is probably because at this point in my career, I don’t NEED my job, for income.
It makes a big difference if you know that you are working because you want to rather than you have to.
Good thing I don’t really need the income, because it is meager. Lol

Retired here. I mow lawns, paint. Lay laminate flooring.

Able to do things that I couldn't do, tied to a job.

Social Security.... gets me through

Retired years ago from my day job. Mostly good people to work with there, some A-holes. Management was for the most part incompetent. I liked it enough to spend 30+ years there.

Now I'm a small biz owner and call all the shots. It's my way, or the highway!! However, I'm the only employee so I HAVE to do what the boss says. Confusedmiley-shocked003:

I'm bored, tired of dealing with idiots (the adults, not the kids) and get paid a pittance, but it has me on the same schedule as my wife and I like that.

I work at a facility with a 30-day residential program for alcoholics and addicts. two twelve hour days on two off. I'm retired but this is a great full time job for me. I only work seven days out of every fourteen. And get paid for mostly standing around and watching people which I was doing anyway for free before I got this.
