I'm done living in fear... as soon as 10.14.1 comes out, I'm updating
#1
I've been keeping my iPhone 6 on iOS 10 and it's been painful. The OS has been getting buggier, but I DID NOT WANT to deal with 11 since there were so many complaints.

I've been planning on upping my 2015 iMac to 10.12 from 10.11 for MONTHS and still can't bring myself to do it.

After installing 10.14 on a couple of machines that I plan to sell, I like the look of it. Lots of little things have been fixed - the whole installation process was smoother in 100 different ways.

That's it... I'm done cowering with my old OSes.

I updated my phone yesterday and it's better in every way so far.

My main concerns with my work machine is getting my printer to work and getting old wifi technology working (from an older wifi SD card to the computer). Forget the printer... I've had it for 7 years and have gotten my moneys worth. If it won't work, I'll replace it. Not sure what to do about the wifi card, but dammit... I'm ready to move on. I'll figure it out. I always do.

I came to this realization last night and a huge weight seemed to fall off my shoulders. I'm ready... let's do this...

Careful...14 killed my dog, burnt my house, flattened my tires and divorced my wife.

Hah. 2 minutes ago I checked to see if 10.14.1 was out. I'm updating as soon it comes out as well... though I have a handful of machines and it's only going on one to start. I mainly just want dark mode.

I'm not a 'dark mode' kinda guy, but one of the machines I set up was in dark mode and it really is easy on the eyes. But when reading web pages, I prefer black text on white space so I can't really do dark mode, but I think it's done well.

Every update I load from Apple pushes me more and more towards another platform. It just gets worse and worse.

I have had an iPhone 6 and went thru all the upgrades when they occurred with no issues. I just upgrade it to an iPhone 8 Plus this past weekend! ;-)

Did a 2012 MBP the day it was released. Was Fine. Took longer than I expected. But I might have been thinking "update" vs "upgrade" which are different.

I guess I dont see it. A few things here and there. No more colored folders was a bummer. But overall... fine.

Besides the only other viable option is windows. Having never used windows, Id get lost in 5 seconds. And Id go crazy over virus software. blech.

I want to be sure that the new file system is rock solid before I consider installing Mojave. There is reason to be cautious, from what I’ve been reading.

I hate dark UIs, so that is no inducement to upgrade at all.

I'm curious what issues you've had with an iPhone 6 on iOS 10. I have a 6s on iOS 10, and I've not noticed anything "buggy" or slow about it.
