anyone using ShopSavvy app?

I found this on my iPhone the other day. Honestly I don't recall installing this App, but that does not mean I didn't install it. I may have installed it months ago and forgot about it.

Anyway, this morning I see a notification from this App. If I open that notification, it takes me to an Amazon product page.

Anyway, I want to check to see what you guys think about this App. I am tempted to delete it. If I was able to live without it until now, I can probably go on without it. Who knows what it tracks and what data sends to facebook servers, LOL

I've saved as much as $200 on ONE purchase using ShopSavvy (telescoping ladder). I saved $100 on a different purchase (high end insulated cooler). I regularly use SS in stores to see what other prices are available. Yesterday, in Walmart, I scanned a $23 HBA item and saw it was $8 less at Amazon. I did NOT give the App permission to "notify" me (I generally deny that permission to Apps). Some retailers will accept the ShopSavvy listing and match the price; other retailer won't. I have it on Both my iPhone8+ (on Verizon) and, my Samsung Galaxy Note8 [soon to be an S10+] (on T-Mobile). I'm VERY happy with SS.

Do you happen to know how the track you and what they do with that data?
