She worked in Princeton. She came home for lunch on Monday. She never went back to work. Colleagues called police who found her dead before 6 PM

It'll be on Dateline, 48 Hours, and/or 20/20 by fall.
Since it's close to you, it'll probably also make Murder Comes To Town on IDTV.
In the mean time, better keep your doors locked until you're sure they've caught the bastich.
PYT, sad story.

it will be interesting to know if this was a burglary gone wrong (maybe they were robbing her place when she arrived home unexpectedly for lunch) or some psycho (ex-lover, or someone stalking her, she seemed pretty from those pictures). either way someone should be brought to justice.

Sad. Many possibilities. I hope the details will be released and, if there is a "guilty party" that party will be brought to justice. :oldfogey:

“Neighbors reported that they heard faint screams coming from her apartment and according to ABC 7, they also heard the sounds of furniture being moved around.”

I doubt if the police could have gotten there in time even if the neighbors had called 911. But maybe...

police is also 3 blocks away, in the opposite direction.

When I had my anaphylactic shock, ambulance was here in less than 5 min, but police showed up first, probably in 2-3 min.

it's a small town.

Stay away from that area. There's a killer still loose. I hope they can identify and arrest the perpetrator asap.

I had a murder two HOUSES away from me. Perpetrator may have walked through my back yard to get to the house. Apparently, a high school kid was looking for drug money from a "friend" who was at school. Step dad was sleeping in that morning and when the perp broke down the back door came to see what was going on. A gun was fired and the step dad was killed. They got the kid who "the street" believed was the perpetrator, but eventually he walked free. He had been in the home before so finger prints could not be linked to the day of the murder.

Family moved a few months later. This was the third dysfunctional family in that house in a row, starting with the original owner.
