convert 3 years of "Xbox Live" into "Game Pass Ultimate"
#1
The Xbox One S arrived, we set it up, there is a 14 day code for Xbox Live (not even gold) and I can't really tell what this does... The interface is even more confusing than Apple TV. Maybe I will get used to it.

Anyway, I wanted to learn what is the difference between Live and Game Pass and I found this. Luckily, I did NOT use the $1 promo on that 14-day code. I am about to spend $180 for 3 years of Live Gold and then use the $1 promo to make that Game Pass Ultimate ($540 value)

OK make sure you do NOT enable recurring payment, otherwise Microsoft will give you one additional month for free, and you end up with 2 year and 2 months, so you cannot add a 3rd year. Sad

I HATE the latest Xbox interface. Can't stand how messy and unintuitive it is. Kind of like Windows....

Great tips but I wonder if you will still be using it in three years.
