So I'm watching Jay Leno's Garage...

I didn't care much for him as The Tonight Show host having found him far more funny as a stand-up comedian.

But I really enjoy him on Jay Leno's Garage.

The show is up to its second episode this season, which was better than the first one. The extemporaneous comedy is great, more fun than his stand up.

This episode had a short bit with Billy Joe (not a fan) but I didn't know he was a big motorcycle nerd, and has a great collection of modern vintage bikes.

My favorite segment is with this guy:

Donald Osborne is, among many other things, an appraiser of rare and exotic cars. He doesn't get enough air time.

This is a fun show.

I've been in there a bunch of times. Amazing place but overwhelming.
The last time I was there J had his new MaClaren supercar there ... he was driving it around. $1 million dollar car. His circa 1980s radar detector hanging in it. Ha. You see those in the free piles at garage sales now.

Bernard is the coolest guy that works there.

No. Friends only although with J that seems to number in the 10 thousands sometimes.

I'm not a car guy. He has some great bikes. The Vincents are his favorites.

I think if there were a fire he'd push the bikes out, the steam powered tractor Mavis bought him and maybe that old Buick thing he slept in.

I appreciate seeing all the rare or special vehicles. And whatever backstory might be available. But that’s about it; Jay only ever seems to know surface knowledge about any of them and seems to make odd factual mistakes about simple aspects of several of them ... and I’m no expert.

I also appreciate someone of means being able to enjoy their toys after having worked hard for many years.

He has like 300 cars and 150 bikes. He's 70 years old. He's entitled to some mistakes.

I can't even find the keys to my car most of the time.
