0600ET: Get coffee, turn on TV and what the eff??
I'm getting stations from 200 miles south in Hampton Roads!
Meanwhile, 'local' stations within 50 miles I get with 80%+ strength cannot be found.

Back to normal at 11AM or so.

For those with foil hats; there are several known military bases near the signal
path: Dover AFB, APG, Andrews AFB, Langley AFB, Norfolk Naval Base, & Oceana NAS.
There's also NASA Wallops Island.

Or was it just something like geomagnetic (solar) storm. :wall:

Space Weather Prediction Center indicates it might have been a G2 geomagnetic storm.
NOAA/SWPC

Aurora was really active a few days ago. I wonder if it's related.

Comcast has been doing strange things, I had to go through my favorites and re-assign about a third of them.

Happened again this morning. If it's messing with terrestrial and satellite (Comcast)
signals, I don't know how it could be anything other than geomagnetic storm effect.

Is there a magnetospheric expert in the MRF lounge?
