iPad OS is confusing
#1
ok so I'm not Apple power users like you kids are but i am no as dumb as you think i am. That being said, last night i tried to learn the features of the new iPad OS which i have on my iPad Pro 11in. But Apple's rendition of its features doesn’t show a lot of "how-tos" which is why I think they can be confusing. It's like Apple saying: "you can make your memoji turn into a unicorn while playing minecraft and splitting the screen with Mail using a 3-finger pinch and 2 swipes up but we're not gonna exactly tell you how."

Damn you Apple! DAMN YOU!!!!

Been that way for a long while now. It’s criminal how casually Apple has discarded and destroyed its “for the rest of us” legacy.

....have to agree....they change features and add a lot more.....you have to 'study' to learn them all.....then in the next OS they will change something......

Here's some more information:

https://support.apple.com/ipad

https://support.apple.com/guide/ipad/welcome/ios

Sites like https://www.imore.com will have how-to articles on what you can do with the iPad.

Apple has never been great with tutorials, but in the past they've had lengthy User Manuals available with detailed explanations of features and functions. But they were usually buried in the support pages.

And to cut Apple a tiny bit of slack, they plotting an involved workflow isn't in their purview. They fired the guy responsible for that.
