App needed: Cross platform Note app that does the following...
#1
I've used Evernote for many years. It allows my secretary to take a phone message, type it in (on her PC), and it'll show up on my MBP and my iPhone. The best feature was the ability to press on a phone number from the iOS app and have the phone recognize that it's a phone number, and ask if I want to "call" the number. Otherwise I have to cute and paste the number if I'm returning calls from my iPhone.

But, that function of Evernote hasn't worked in about 3 months. I contacted the developer and they said they are aware of the issue and working on it. Well, it's not fixed yet.

Does anyone know of any other cross-platform (Windows, Mac OS and iOS) note taking app that will allow me to make a call from the iOS app?

Thanks

MS' OneNote would be a natural option, but I've never used it, nor know if it's still free.
But what I would really do is create an appleID for your assistant, log into iCloud.com from her PC, and create Notes to be shared with you.

I'll second Google Keep (though I haven't tried its ability to make calls...).
Or, more "quick and dirty", just Google Docs.

Instead of using the Evernote app, try signing in on Safari or Chrome (or whatever) and seeing if that works.

Google Keep is trash! And this is coming from an expert (me).

Sure you know how to work it? It's flawless for me.

'Lock' note on the page once 'Done'. In order to add or edit, EDIT (or Edit) must be clicked.

Sync with iCloud

Have Share Sheet ability

Desired but of lesser importance:

Have more than one font

Have Bold, Underline, and Italic options

Have ability to encrypt

The Apple Notes app is very basic and I'd be -- ok with it, if I didn't frequently erase notes when handling the phone while trying to take notes while reading off my Mac, TV, whatever.

Does Notability offer this feature?
