I just watched episode 1 and liked it a lot. So much history.

i thought it was very well done.
the film puts the music into the american narrative. ken burns is a wonderful film-maker. he so often puts music as the connective thread-civil war-baseball-jazz-and now country. he is a national treasure. rob
