my local adult bev store is open again with curbside.
tehy don't have alot of variety, but ....
I'm down to the last tbsp of Old Pogues.
Pogues wasn't bad, but I prefer Basils regular, Angels Envy, Four Roses small batch and Widow Jane.
Bulliet and Jeffersons did not thrill me.
$50
G'head, what would you get that's in same profile?

Basil Hayden is my go to bourbon if someone else is paying.
But one of my go to cocktails with Bulleit is the Nor'Easter: Bourbon, a squeeze of lime, a tsp of maple syrup and ginger beer.

my local has Widow aged in NYS maple syrup barrels.
I'm sure it's good, but it's quite $$$.
I drink brown spirits neat with whiskey rocks or a chilled glass.

Eagle Rare is right in the sweet spot. You can usually find it (unlike Blanton's), it's very very good, and it's priced lower than your Basil Hayden's. Col Taylor Small Batch (not Single Barrel, which IYAM is overpriced) is also a quality choice from the Buffalo Trace stable.
I personally really like Blade & Bow these days. Around $45-50 and very high quality.

Woodford is my everyday, I like Maker's 46, just got my first bottle of Blanton's (good but not life-changing) and on the recommendation of some online friends I just tried Old Forester 1920 and quite like it.

I have had Woodford and seem to remember liking it.

GOOD NEWS:
I have a bottle of Makers Mark in a cabinet next to some Purell and 2 containers of Lysol wipes.
BAD NEWS:
The cabinet is located on the 3rd floor of an office building in Midtown Manhattan, NYC.
Grrrrr....

Basil Hayden is quite affordable at Costco -- I picked up a bottle there some months ago for around $40. More than reasonable.
