A sack of flour. A sack of sugar. A tin of coffee. Some fatback and lard. 10 Penny nails. A scrap of fabric so that Emily can make a dress. A couple of pieces of rock candy for the kids. A pouch of tobacco.

There was a feller out this way with a wagon selling Elixir for COVID and anything else that ails one.

His spiel was too good to be true so I bought all he had.

He must have needed to get more as he left in a big hurry.
