we were in The Elk Reserve on the southern edge of Grand Tetons National Park in Aug 2015, and it was mid 30s every night.

A friend and I stayed in a backcountry cabin behind the Elk Refuge several years ago, and woke up to about a foot and a half of snow the next morning; it was the end of July.
